Our Client in Riverside, CA is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
The BSA will support their clients in clearly defining and creating solutions to support business requirements in a clinical setting on the health information data. Create and delivers artifacts for discovery, decisions and approvals. Support the needs of the organization in participating in all phases of the SDLC to ensure business requirements are delivered while adhering to their standards.
•5+ years’ experience in information technology projects across diverse application areas and technologies and methodologies in the health care industry
•4+ years’ experience in leading and implementing healthcare related system dealing with HL7/Clinical data in a distributed environment
•2+ years’ working in a vendor services environment
•2+ years’ of interacting with external clients
•4+ years’ writing and developing documentation to support requirements
•Undergraduate degree and Master’s degree a plus
•Masters Degree in Information Systems or Healthcare IT
•Solid understanding of current technologies with the ability to develop and deliver projects using leading edge technologies.

•Skilled in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presenting/selling them to senior management.
•Effective oral and written communication skills.
•Extremely high level of analytical ability to resolve complex and difficult issues.

Managing and Creating System Requirements
•Produce technical specifications, diagrams and model solutions.
•Translate business requirements into tangible, testable and executable artifacts
•Participate in analysis and design of robust, flexible software components.
•Research and adhere to healthcare industry best practices.
•Perform quality assurance activities as the situation dictates, such as deliverable review, testing.
•Support configuration management activities.
•Identify and communicate issues and risks in a timely manner for proper management.
•Define and document requirements for solution components.
•Produce project artifacts including requirements, technical specifications, test documentation, system/operations guides, issue/enhancement request documentation, and standard operating procedures as requested
