The Applications Developer, ERP role will be responsible for participating in the development and support of business solutions utilizing Information Technology. Responsible for assisting in gathering requirements, performing analysis/design, development, testing, documentation and user training to maintain and improve overall Information Systems performance.
Essential Functions /Key Results Areas:
Assess and present solutions through use of ERP systems. Gather business requirements as needed. Initiate and lead ERP related projects and provide day to day support. Research, design and develop Syteline ERP operational reports and programs for all business units. Collaborate with various business units in organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved processes and functions. Interact with internal and 3rd party vendors to coordinate implementation of newly created functions and reports. Define business, financial and operations requirements and system goals working with decision makers and end users. Identify and resolve systems issues. Lead and analyze design sessions in prototyping new systems to enhance business processes, operations and information process flows. Perform database inquires and audit to verify system integrity. Conduct in-depth tests for modified and new systems or applications.
Education /Qualifications / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferred.
Experience / Knowledge:
Strong, hands-on knowledge of enterprise software applications - specifically Infor Syteline 9.0required. Other ERP experience helpful. Candidate must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in report writing preferred. Proven ability to work in a structured, quality environment with a heavy emphasis on proper, detailed change management. Strong team player; able to work well and lead others. Strong project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated knowledge of tools, processes, methodologies and standards for requirements gathering, documentation and analysis. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities.
