Our Philadelphia based client is currently seeking a Senior SalesForce.com Developer for a contract to hire opportunity
•Development on the force.com platform spanning all forms of Salesforce programmatic options, including Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce, Apex batch jobs, etc.
•Analysis of new enhancement requests provided by business and both high level estimation of work effort as well as technical breakdown of solution.
•Troubleshooting of existing code base for unexpected production issues and business inquiries.
•Configuration and customization using standard Salesforce features, such as validation rules, workflow rules, approval processes, complex formulas, etc.
•Development and configuration on top of managed packages and third party apps.
•Adherence to change and release management procedures.
•Unit testing of candidate’s code to ensure proper code coverage and stability of supporting logic.
•Collaboration with cross-functional teams in delivering strategic projects and key initiatives.
•Delegating tedious or suitable premier sup with Salesforce.com and Salesforce.com-certified service partners on solution development.
•Assist in mentoring of junior developers and using experience to enhance team’s knowledge base.
•Articulate development status to technical and non-technical audiences.
•Continually refine business acumen and establish domain / industry vertical expertise.
•Extensive hands on development in Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages, components, and other development
•Hands on experience and strong working knowledge of Salesforce multi-tenant framework
•Hands on experience with SOQL, SOOL, and overall understanding of Salesforce data model.
•Experience in developing in global and enterprise level environments dealing with multi-currencies, and multiple languages.
•Hands on experience in development of complex solutions involving numerous programmatic elements and components.
•Experience with mobile development.
•Foundational understanding of OO.
