Partner closely with the Innovation Group, technology, lines of business and staff functions to identify, develop and pilot a thoughtful solution for expanding our Speed to Market Program offshore using the Client’s Enterprise Global Services (EGS). The plan will include the identification of functions/skillsets suitable to move offshore, overall design strategy, standard operating model procedures, and process excellence as it relates to Speed to Market global expansion. The strategy will also include the day to day mechanics and function of the Speed to Market Program with an offshore component, considerations and implications of travel, overlapping time zones, collaboration tools, etc. and will identify adjustments needed to traditional Agile practices to facilitate offshoring.
In this role, the individual will lead the continued discovery (utilizing work conducted to-date), proposal and pilot implementation of a Speed to Market Offshore Strategy. Responsibilities will include among others:
·Formulate a detailed offshore solution that includes both the tactical and strategic plans necessary for a successful implementation
·Work with subject matter experts to ensure a holistic and strategic approach is taken in gathering deliverables for expansion strategy.
·As needed, support the development, execute and monitor progress against strategic plan and roadmaps; includes executive level report development, analysis and regular distribution.
·Experience with Agile software development
·Offshore/Outsource experience with a Fortune 100 Financial Services company
·Strong project management, vendor management, and research skills
·Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
·Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
·Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
·Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
·Knowledge and understanding of Implementation strategy development and delivery
·Solid critical thinking skills
·Strong understanding of large diversified Financial Services organizations operations that provide banking, insurance, investments, mortgage banking, investment banking, retail banking, brokerage and consumer finance services in order to provide support to the respective lines of business.
